I needed to replace the timing belt. Steve called less than an hour after I dropped it off saying that my car has a timing chain and not a timing belt and that it does not need to be replaced. This is not the first time EP AUTO had been up front and honest with me but it is one of the most important characteristics when looking for a mechanic. EP saved me about $1500 bucks by being honest!! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I live about 15 miles away but I won’t take my car repairs to anyone except Eric and Steve at EP AUTO REPAIR.

Steve was great and very responsive. They charge a very fair rate and did exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend them.

Very good, kind people and reliable mechanics. They were forthcomingly transparent with what the situation was with my car, with what choices it gave me, and how we could move forward. The car ended up not being salvageable, but they really listened to my circumstances and did everything they could to help me, including with the process of selling the car to the scrapyard. I went to them because I saw in a review that they were incredibly trustworthy, and now I give my own witness to that. Thank you guys so much!
